Hikes featured ⤵️ 📍Looking Glass Falls 📍Moore Cove Falls I stayed off my phone for 5 hours during the Phones Down for 5 Challenge, which inspired me to shoot on my mirrorless camera for the first time in ages. I also journaled by the river and experimented with film – things I wouldn’t typically do on a casual day hike. Lately, I’m realizing more and more that staying super busy and never giving myself time to disconnect is harmful to my mental health and creativity. Being offline and in nature (even for a few hours) was incredibly restorative and healing for me 🫶 I recently heard this quote and loved it, so I figured I’d share: “There is no WiFi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection.” 🌲 Also, I captured these photos and videos on my mirrorless camera and a Polaroid!
